July 25, 1923 - July 22, 2008
One of my favorite ladies in the world passed away early this morning. I wasn't aware until I got home from work and went to check my e-mail and saw it on the front page of Yahoo. It both surprised me and didn't. I already saw it coming a while back because I knew Estelle was very sick with dementia. As I read the article I began to cry because it was like I had lost a friend.
Most of you guys might remember Estelle Getty as sassy Sophia from The Golden Girls, my ultimate favorite sitcom ever. If I'm ever sad or just feeling depressed Estelle (along with the rest of the GG's) always found a way to brighten my day and make me feel better.
I'm just glad she's resting in peace now. I love ya Estelle :)
